Dr. Jack H. Lincks
Dr. Jack Lincks was born in New Orleans. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University, School of Dentistry in 1986. After graduation he joined the United States Air Force, serving 21 years in the Dental Corps and retiring at the rank of Colonel (06). His military assignments include: Homestead AFB, Fl; Elmendorf AFB, AK; Lackland AFB, TX; Langley AFB, VA; and Hickam AFB, HI. He was deployed for the Persian Gulf War, Desert Shield/Desert Storm, in 1990.
Dr. Lincks completed his Periodontal Residency and Masters of Science at Wilford Hall Medical Center/University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio in 1999. His Masters of Science research facilitated the development of current surface technology for dental implants. He received his Master Laser certification from the World Clinical Laser Institute in 2011.
Dr. Lincks is currently a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, the International College of Dentists, the Idaho State Dental Association, and the Southwest Idaho and Treasure Valley Dental Societies. He is also an Instructor of Periodontics II at CSI for the Dental Hygiene Program. He is the past Chairman of the Idaho Oral Health Alliance and is the Director of the High Desert Sage Study Club and High Desert Sage Hygiene Study Club.
He is married to Jennifer, and together they have three children: Kat, Evan, and Brian.
Dr. Randy S. Demetter
Dr. Randy Demetter was raised in Troy, Michigan. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University in 2010, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2014. Following his dental training, he decided to pursue specializing in periodontics.
Dr. Demetter attended a three-year residency in periodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he attained his Masters of Science and Certificate in Periodontics in 2017. While in San Antonio, Dr. Demetter’s research interests focused on various materials and methods for tooth extraction and ridge preservation in preparation for dental implant placement and he has co-authored articles in the Journal of Periodontology and the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry.
Dr. Demetter is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, the Idaho State Dental Association, and the Southwest Idaho Dental Society. He is also and a Clinical Professor for the ISU Dental Residency in Meridian and is Director of the High Desert Sage Study Club and High Desert Sage Hygiene Study Club.
Dr. Demetter is married to his wife Andria and together they have three wonderful daughters: Natalie, Camryn and Claire.
Dr. KC Esplin
Dr. Kaleb "KC" Esplin was born in Southern Idaho and raised in St. George, Utah. He received his Bachelors of Science at Utah State University and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Utah School of Dentistry. He attended a three-year periodontal residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he also received his Masters of Science.
While a resident, Dr. Esplin performed research on regenerating bone around failing implants with a specific focus on comparing titanium and zirconia implants. His research has been published in the Journal of Periodontology and led to him receiving multiple national awards including the John F. Prichard Research Award and the James T. Mellonig Regeneration Award. Outside of placing and repairing implants, Dr. Esplin specializes in treating gum disease utilizing laser technology, reversing and addressing gum recession, diagnosis and removal of problematic teeth, and preparing sites for implant placement.
Outside of periodontics, KC enjoys performing on various musical instruments, being in nature, and spending time with his wife Savanna and their two sons. He is excited to officially be home in Idaho and is looking forward to providing meticulous and compassionate care to his patients!
